Change is Inevitable, Learn to Flow like Water
“Everything will change. The only question is growing up or decaying.”

Many, may react to change with fear, sadness, and anxiety. It can feel like the tide is coming in and moving the stable and firm ground further from our feet. However, our abilities to transform and adjust to outside changes are a testament to our resilience and inner strength.
Learning to evolve, adjust, stretch, and become fluid as a reaction to change is how you learn to go with the natural current of life’s seasons and ebbs and flows.
Anxiety is often a feeling of worry, nervousness, or uneasiness about the future. It can often feel like you are drowning on dry land.
Fundamentally, you must learn to swim with the rising seas of unknown and unforeseen circumstances. Metaphorically speaking, you must submerge into the seas of change while remaining calm and collected as you rise, kick, and and calmly swim your way up to the top. Learn to swim with the change in currency. Because, when you panic you’re likely to drown. You become porous everyone’s emotions including your own. You’ve inhaled too much, too quickly, all of your surroundings rather than noticing, then surrendering into calm deep exhales that raise you up.
Your power is in your calm not your frantic.
This focus, calm breathing, naturally raising you back to surface, to flow.
Now, more than ever, it is imperative you learn to observe and not absorb what you see, think, and hear as truth. You are to determiner of your imminent reality.
I know this can be difficult, especially in these times, but train yourself everyday.
We are bombarded daily with headlines, news, and current events that we collectively consume almost to obsession. So much so, that many individuals who are extremely immersed may even be decidedly offended if you choose to detach yourself and your concern of these seemingly cataclysmic events.
All too often, we let the outside world infiltrate our emotions, and bleed into our immediate lives.
This is not to say that we should be cold, or desensitized to the needs of our brothers and sisters, but we should use clearer discernment before attaching our emotions to the latest topics of the day.
It’s hard to make an impact, when you are overly emotional, outraged, and triggered to a fault.
The most powerful change makers and leaders are most impactful due to their ability to maintain poise, pragmatism, and an inquisitive approach to chaos.
Our emotions are powerful, essential, important and meaningful to our lives. However, this does not mean that everything deserves our emotional equity. When we freely give this sacred part of ourselves to the outside world rather than our deepest and most intimate relationships and ourselves, we become heavier in those deep waters of change.
Even a bird knows when it is time to coast with the wind and stop flapping her wings.
I encourage us all to take deeper breaths, moments of silence for ourselves, and find an easier approach to life’s challenges by simply just observing before reacting.
Peace and Love 💕
