I don’t know about you, but lately, I’ve been feeling an urge. A deep feeling that says, Girl, clean this up. De-clutter yourself, your garden, your home, and make space. Move things around. Prune what’s dead. Something divine is about to come through.
Maybe it’s the waning moon energy. This is that slow retreat of her reflective light, pulling us inward like a tide going out. Or, maybe it’s just that I’ve been feeling the need to breathe a little easier, to make my home and my head feel lighter.
Either way, I’ve learned to listen to that feeling. If your space is jammed pack, your spirit feels more clogged too. When you’ve got too much old energy hanging out in your home, your mind gets noisy, your body feels sluggish, and your soul starts whispering, Hey… this ain’t it.
I don’t like to ignore those whispers. I don’t like to let things pile up, so I’m sensitive to clutter, chaos, and neglected piles. Sometimes I let my mind convince me I didn’t have the time to address it. But, if I let that be true I’ll only start spiraling into overwhelm.
This is how your mind can create a mountain out of a molehill. Don’t allow that to deter you, because when you’re embodied you know you don’t have to do everything to get clear, it’s really just the little subtle details that add up.
It doesn’t have to be that deep. Simplicity is the higher frequency.
Sometimes a few simple shifts are enough to break spells and free your mind.
Every seed needs good soil.
Your ideas, your plans, your desires, and your manifestations don’t matter without You. They need you, and they need you to be clear and nourished. No matter how good your intentions are, they can’t take root in rocky, cluttered, or depleted ground. The same goes for your energy.
The waning days before the next new moon Saturday, March 29th is a potent time for release, reflection, and renewal. Much like the luteal phase in your cycle, this is when your body and spirit start pulling inward. The light of the moon fades a little more each day, giving you a chance to process what’s been illuminated.
If the full moon brought you a revelation, like a truth about your relationships, your purpose, or your peace, then this is your moment to tend to it. The waning moon invites you to work you magic, to cleanse, close out your tab, tend to your energy and prepare your soil for something better to bloom and grow.
Healthy roots grow the sweetest fruits.
Here’s a list of practical yet powerful ways to clear your energy and your space for the next chapter/moon cycle:
Toss out those worn-out bras and tired old panties. Trust me, nothing shifts your feminine energy like some new, sexy, cute high quality undergarments. Bonus points if you get colors that make you feel delicious.
Clean out your car. Just like our homes, our cars are extensions of your energy and reflect our emotions and actions. Cars represent your life journey, your direction, your control, your ability to go the distance, your resilience, and choices. Notice how much lighter you’ll feel when you’re not driving around in a mobile junk drawer.
Declutter and wipe down your nightstand and leave yourself something sweet to see first thing in the morning, like a bouquet of flowers, a candle, a love note to yourself, books with good titles, or a picture that makes you smile.
Sweep your floors. Not in that rushed “lemme just get this done” way, but intentionally. Like you’re a domestic goddess/princess sweeping out stale energy and airing out your space as you invite in something better.
And while you’re at it? Go ahead and clean out your purse too. Old receipts, loose money, snacks, make-up pouches….I promise you’ll find something you thought you lost.
Take a few days off (at least 2 or more) and silence your social media. Enjoy being bored, not scrolling, not distracted, and finally able to hear your own thoughts, ideas, and inspirations more clearly.
These little shifts? They’re powerful.
They’re the kind of thing that gets your ancestors and spirit guides clapping like, Yes! Now she’s moving with divine guidance and intention.
Many want to connect with their ancestors and spiritual guides, but fail to realize that it’s really in the smallest ways that they already can,
Treat your body, your home, and your car, all like an altar in a holy temple. Your tiny rituals, positive energy, and highest vibes invite your most divinised ancestors, your ascended spiritual guides, and your highest goddess self to dwell with you in your space. They are your guests of honor so Ask yourself: Would they feel welcome here? Would they feel respected, and honoured? Would they feel at home?
As goddesses awakening this is the embodied presence of bringing heaven on earth. You prepare your soil with care. This means that the soil that supports your growth is your foundation. This is your body, your home, your vehicle, and your devices which are supposed to be maintained with care and intentional ritual. What’s meant for you will thrive when you’ve done the goddess work of preparing for it.
Because as your space feels clean, your mind feels clearer. And when your mind is clearer, calm and quiet, your intuition gets louder and your magic gets stronger.
This week, let yourself reset, reflect, and renew.
Don’t overthink it, just start with the soil.
