Last year, I remember coming across the page of this hilarious woman on TikTok, she was witty, fierce, and adamantly yelling at women to Bathe.
It was her advice and anecdote for everything a woman was dealing with.
Not just bathing to get clean, but bathing to get your man to act right.
Bathing to get your money up.
Bathing when someone’s gossiping about you.
Bathing to stay unbothered when chaos is swirling.
Bathing to keep your attraction and glow so undeniable that even an unfaithful man starts questioning his own decisions.
I chuckled and enjoyed scrolling her content for a while, because she wasn’t wrong….
Bathe, as she was promoting is an all-encompassing ritual.
It isn’t just about washing your body; she discusses it as a form of mastering your feminine energy through the portals of hair, skin, nails, makeup, perfume, all of it. She was preaching the gospel of the magnetic practice of beauty, calm, and power. The more she explained, the more I found myself nodding. Because if there’s one thing I know for sure, bathing in water is essential and powerful for all women.
Luckily, I’ve known the power of bathing since I was a little girl. My mother didn’t shower, she always bathed and still does.
Growing up, I’d play in her bathroom which was filled with makeup, scented powders, potpourri, vintage fragrance bottles (the ones with the squeeze pump), lotions and more. Everything was glam and ornate. There was always luscious soaps, bath beads, beautiful bottles of oils and what nots.
Jazz music was always playing.
And, bath water was always running in our house.
Whether it was for me and my sister, or just for herself. My mom would be found adjusting the bobby pins in her long curls in the mirror or bathing as she was preparing for work. She could be going out, unwinding from her day, or just needing a moment of calm. Either way she was going to look good.
She made time for her baths no matter what was going on. She taught us that a bath was paramount for proper care and respect of yourself and your intimate lady parts.
She didn’t believe that taking showers got you clean enough. She preferred to soak. And she professed that this was more about a moment to reset her mind, her body, and her spirit.
I was taught a high level of hygiene, both spiritually and physically, as I matured in my womanly body. I grew up thinking this was a normal standard — only to realize later that it wasn’t.
In high school and college, my friends would complain at how long I took to get ready or how particular I was about my appearance. My friends, always being sure to ask me what I was wearing, would be making sure I wasn’t “too dressed up” so we could all look similar in effort.
For me, a high level of self-care was typical. Looking good, smelling good, was never something you sacrificed. It was precious. I was taught that women needed a space to clear the day, ease our energy, and prepare to meet the world again as our best self.
I know my mother was instilling in me something sacred. Not just how to take care of my body, but teaching me how to take care of my spirit, connect with my soul, and keep myself sacred.
The Moon, Water, and Women: Why Bathing Is Sacred
“When in trouble, take a bath and wash your hair.” - Zsa Zsa Gabor
Zsa Zsa Gabor, a famous American socialite and actress known for her beauty and charisma, said she did everything in the bath, making no major decisions without taking one.
Elizabeth Taylor was known to make million dollar deals and negotiate the details of her salary, while soaking in the bathtub.
Women and water are deeply connected.
The moon rules the tides, so it also reflects on our inner cycles, our subconscious, and our wombs. Bathing under a full moon, a new moon, or during a lunar eclipse like tonight, merely intensifies it.
We are made of mostly water, so being in water amplifies as we instill it with our intention. It heals, it cleanses, it protects, it quiets the mind, and allows stuck emotions to dissolve. It’s why so many ancient traditions, like the Yoruba traditions, honor Oshun and Yemaya as sacred feminine and powerful water spirits.
Water also represents the womb, where we were once a fetus gestating inside our mothers for at least 9-10 complete moon cycles.
Water represents influence, creation, information, health, wealth, and currency. Bathing helps you gather yourself and return to your senses, remember your worth, your softness, and your deep knowing.
Why? Because water is data. Water is primordial. Water was here on this planet before anything else.
You can easily charge your water with specific intention.
You can also add salts, herbs, oils, or just your words and tears to amplify your bath.
Then notice the little urges, the miracles, subtle shifts, and epiphanies start to unfold the more you do this. Not to mention the change for the better in your hydration, appearance, and magnetic aura.
Bath Recipe for Energy & Radiance
Try this out, if you just want to feel light, magnetic, and attractive (not just for a man but for you), in your creative work, your friendships, and your everyday presence, this is one of my go-to baths after I’ve already done deep scrub and thorough wash in the shower. This is a soaking in intention bath, not meant for scrubbing in bubbles and soap:
✨ Cleansing & Attraction Bath ✨
2 cups pink Himalayan salt (to increase magnetism and cleanse your aura)
A handful of dried rose petals or 7-10 drops of attar of rose oil (to raise your vibration, invite inner-peace, attract love, balance heart chakra)
Light a white candle beside the tub for clarity, or a pink candle for self-love and magnetism
As I swirl one hand through the water, I touch my other hand to my beating heart. I relax, then visualize, and say:
"I am cleansed from what no longer serves me. I call in my divine protection, my inner peace, and my knowing."
Then I let myself soak for at least 20–30 mins.
No media, no distractions. Just me, the water, and whatever whispers of wisdom rise to the surface.
Last night, we had a powerful Lunar Eclipse, where we got a cosmic invitation to pause, release, and reflect. Eclipses tend to shake things loose, but it also opens us to a deeper clarity.
And what better way to receive cosmic clarity than by relaxing into the water?
A Woman Is Sacred…Period
In today’s society, we’ve seen the result of the confused and misguided dialogue about what a woman is or isn’t. As well as, what feminine energy is or isn’t.
I feel this information and these conversations aren’t meant for mass consumption. In fact, our elders and ancestors understood the importance of keeping the sacred business of women folk separate from the business of men folk.
In many ancient societies, Men weren’t even allowed to see women give birth. They also separated in sacred rites as they came into adolescence. Only afterward, would they commune and come together in celebration and union.
Separations were necessary to become aware of divine purpose and gifts. Our journeys and assignments are different as men and women. This was understood and organized for the good of all.
This wasn’t about arguing, convincing, discussing, or debating. It was order. It was Divine order. It was a Universal order. It was Cosmic order.
“Don’t let the right hand know what the left hand is doing.” I’d hear my grandmother say this often when I was little. Now I know why.
Many things pertaining to women are sacred and not meant for prying eyes. There is much hidden for your own protection and natural human foolishness.
Even in the spiritual realms, you must be careful what you speak on, who you speak to, and to them about. What you say has power.
This is why, I’m feeling called to turn on paid subscription posts as well as keep our private chatroom a protected space for the sake of women who need this, who feel this, who are ready for this.
Ready to go deeper without distractions or censoring yourself….
Craving a place of peace and wisdom…
Devoted to divine discernment and….
…ready to get right to the source?
If so, I do this work for you, so that you always remember who you are and what you are worth. That you are most powerful in your calm wisdom.
I feel that now more than ever, women, mothers, girls coming into their goddess initiations, need a place to be free from constant selling, manipulation, striving, fanfare, comparison, and being sold another dream.
We need a place to just be…and be sacred.
So, if you’re ready for that or to explore the deeper art of your sacred magnetic energy…I’m talking the kind that draws people, opportunities, and abundance in without having to fuss and over effort, you can write me a message, and I will gladly add you to my paid exclusive posts and private chat space for FREE and for a limited time.
If you’re a loyal subscriber that has already been supportive of my writing or my books, you may have already been added to this space, as a special thank you for keeping in this journey with me. I love and appreciate you for sticking around.
This type of magic and magnetism I’m speaking about is not just about men, money, beauty, I’m talking activating your divinity. This is what is timeless and beyond physicality. This, is the type of wisdom and energy that transcends the physical. You take it with you even after death.
This is beyond attraction and appeal, it is so sacred it makes everything you want feel naturally yours.
Much love,
